I am Antonio Ip, born in Manilla, Philipines and grew up in the Netherlands, Amsterdam. I started drawing from a young age. I think that my manner of bringing images to life is influenced in a certain way by the '80's because I was brought up in that period where the color televisions made their debuut and not long after the internet and gaming consoles came out. Information, Images and colors played a tremendous role in that time. I experienced the change maybe even faster than most Europians because I went to Asia with my parents for vacation.  The trip to Asia has a strong influence in forming my identity as an Artist. I knew from a very young age what I wanted to do. After primary school I persued to hone my drawing skills, at the Amsterdam Free Art Academy. After my graduation my road to become an Artist led me to the Utrechts school for the Applied Arts. There I studied Illustration, but after careful thought I decided to change my studycourse to Fine Arts in 2011. My ideas are sometimes a bit out there so I guesse my decission in changing to FineArt was a good one. I graduated as Bachelor of Fine Arts. Currently I am working as an freelance illustrator and Artist.
